Scientific Papers

During JPR, attendees and lecturers have the opportunity to present their original papers in four ways:

Scientific Papers (PA)

Papers selected for print presentation (poster) at the Papers Section, in the physical area of the event. They will also be available on the computers of the Digital Presentation Section during JPR. This panel measures are 0.90m high by 1.90m wide. Good papers that do not reach a position for display on the physical area can be invited to exclusive presentation on computer.

Digital Presentation (PD)

Papers submitted or relocated to exclusively digital presentation. These files must be made in Power Point.

Commented Panels

The best papers within "Scientific Papers" and "Scientific Papers - Digital Presentations" will be selected for commented presentation, after their author(s) agreement. The presenter of the commented panel does not need to be the first author, but must be enrolled in JPR.

Oral Presentation (TL)

Oral presentations are held among official JPR’2014 classes. Each presentation will last 8 minutes, plus 2 minutes for discussions and explanations (unless when course coordinator previously changes the time). Presentation time is non-extendable. The presenter does not have to be the first author; however, he/she must be enrolled in JPR’2014. It is important to state that qualified papers, which were not sent to oral presentation, could be invited to other type of presentation.

Good works that do not reach a position for oral presentation may be invited for presentation in other formats.

A certification of paper presentation will be available online on, after the event. No printed certified will be provided by SPR.
