JPR'2014 has the direct participation of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in its scientific program. It is the first time RSNA closes an agreement of this kind with a Latin American society, actively collaborating to organize the event.
The partnership between SPR and RSNA, valid for 2014, 2016, and 2018, was born in 2011, when first talks occurred about the project. After many years attending JPR, leaders of RSNA and SPR concluded that a partnership would be beneficial to their common goal of developing radiology discipline and training internationally. They agreed to work together to plan and organize the 2014 meeting, designed to show the best offered by both of them.
All decisions were taken by common agreement between the area designated coordinators for this project: a radiologist appointed by the SPR board and another one by RSNA.
